AGE OF THE GODS

AGE OF THE GODS

Solitude brought two worlds together
A feat n’er afore time done by any
love evergreen their journey began
A future uncertain, only time will tell

Despised by father, a mother’s love is crushed
The elders and Hundreds – these young ones must go
Tartarus calleth, abode of the disdained

Hurt esteems bitterness
Bitterness begets betrayal
Blood begets revenge
The glory of the former the latter usurped

This reign of doom, your kingdom enthroned
Your end began, the future was known
The unholy union you formed, an urge you couldn’t o’ercome
Wary with wakefulness the offsprings too must go

Betrayal begets blood
The prophecy visits unaltered
Blood begets revenge
This dejavu you must live
The latter dethrones the former
Our new kingdom is Olympus
