LONGING HEART

LONGING HEART

Drowning in the river of innocence

Shining brighter than the sun they stood beneath

Breaching the space that came between

Fragile hearts pumped with thoughts unknown

Shallow steps sank in the murky ground

Giggles filled the ears of all who cared to listen

With deeper steps the giggles lessened

Faint till it was no more to be heard

Shining eyes now pry with jealousy

This murky ground other steps have filled

A longing heart for the days of innocence

A silent voice begging them not to age

with each heavy steps, his path to growth was trodden

NIRVANA
