THE MESSENGER ANTHOLOGY: SILENTIUM

THE MESSENGER ANTHOLOGY: SILENTIUM

The awakening of solitude brings forth silence

Man’s encounter with fate is not devoid of pestilence

Our torpid heart is the fortune

We swore to protect with all manner of tricks

Including the tact that defies the hearts’ tune

Alas! We linger on, that we may harvest feelings

Desired to last a lifetime, yet you contribute nothing but a dime of silence

The need for solitude I appreciate

In the moment of weakness forget not

Solitude = Shield

I wonder what doth silence deliver?

It gives nothing and it shall pilfer

The subtle amongst your tricks

Your kind say silence is golden!

In the depth of your soul, it has given you a heart of stone

PUBLIUS CRASSUS (JIA)
