UNLOVING WORD

UNLOVING WORD

I put my love in Word and not in humans

For Word unlike humans is reliable and trusting

I shared past hurts and tears with words and Word told me

about a time when all will just be butterflies and rainbows

I laughed and shared beautiful moments with words and

Word wrapped me in several layers of tender pleasuring feel

I put my fears and uncertainties in words and Word was

reassuring and soothing

I covered my shames and insecurities with words

and Word gave me closure

I made love with words and Word was endearing and tender

Word was gentle and tender and perfect

So I put my love in Word and not in humans

But last night just before the moon hid her

lovelorn self behind clouds for another lonely empty night

I told Word I love her and can’t wait to share my eternity with her

But Word, just like human, cold, distant, unresponsive and quiet

just laid there staring back at me without a word.

Word just like humans left me alone, in doubt and consumed

with the realization of crushing misery of things that will never be
